A Fall of Marigolds

Recently, I took advantage of an opportunity to attend a seminar given by Susan Meissner. Previous to the class she was unknown to me, by the end of the class I knew I needed to find something she authored. A Fall of Marigolds is a novel about two women separated by one hundred years who both experience loss and heartache through a tragedy (no spoilers here, you'll have to read it to find out what kind of tragedy). They find themselves in an in between place, not really living, but not moving on either. Can love help them find a way forward?

Perfect for your hammock this summer, A Fall of Marigolds satisfies every taste. A little bit of history, a little bit of love, a little suspense, and a lot of depth. If you need me, I’ll be at the library looking up other books by Susan.
