For the LEGO Lover in Your Life

When I opened the package that contained my copy of the Brick Builders Illustrated Bible, I laughed out loud. Such a fun, whimsical way to introduce children to God’s word.

The Brick Builders Illustrated Bible is everything a children’s Bible storybook should be. Full of bright, colorful pictures, exciting story choices, and most importantly, readable and understandable writing. The fact that all the picture appeared to be made out of plastic bricks was just icing on the proverbial cake. If you have a LEGO lover in the house, they will surely enjoy this book. As a bonus, each story comes with a “Building Block” a biblical principle that is illustrated (see what I did there?!) by the preceding story.

The Christmas season is a perfect time to buy (and gift!) a Bible. We can prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ by reading His word.

Who will YOU give a Bible to this year?

In our house, Anna is the brick builder. She graciously allowed me to use her stretch bus as a prop for my picture.

A word of caution: Like many children’s storybook Bibles, this one can be a little iffy on theology. I didn’t notice anything too glaring, and it is published by Zonderkidz (a generally trustworthy source), but there were a few places it could’ve used a little more weighty look at the biblical principle being taught by the story being told.
