Beautiful Star of Bethlehem

A friend recently loaned me Beautiful Star of Bethlehem by Lori Copeland and, though the Christmas season lays months away, I took an afternoon to give it a go. I’m glad I did.

Arlene Santana wakes up in a rehab center and can’t figure out who the people surrounding her. Where is her husband? What happened to her two sons? And the two young men who SAY they are her sons, Jack Jr. and Steven, are obviously liars. She’s never seen them before. What nerve! Through the Christmases Arlene spends in the rehabilitation facility, she learns the truth about how she ended up there, and the truth about her friends and family.

A sweet, Christmas novella, Beautiful Star of Bethlehem makes a great addition to a holiday reading list.  The plot is easy to follow, almost too simple, but there’s a twist at the end that leaves a reader satisfied. If, like me, you read novels during December to help get into the Christmas season, I recommend you add this one to your stack. Or, celebrate early and grab a copy today!
